Biography

-Works as an IT Security Specialist.
-Demeanor is one of faux politeness. Makes way, way too much eye contact; an unsettling amount. Lots of back-handed compliments.
-Became obsessed with Augusta after encountering a song lyric she resonated with, probably something about one's inability to understand the thoughts of others. She became convinced Augusta was "just like her," (which Augusta denies, because she feels that she is normal and not a "nutjob" like Pietà).
-She comes from a wealthy family. She was incredibly spoiled and rarely faced consequences for her actions.
-Pietà was always made fun of for being a crybaby, and was often protected by her older sister, Annalisa, who she worshipped.
-Pieta was incredibly attached to Annalisa, almost to an incestuous level, and would throw violent tantrums if Annalisa spent time with her friends or boyfriend instead of her.
-By the time she was a teenager, she became accustomed to manipulating others to get her way. She had a hard time making friends due to her intense personality, so she'd go after people who would become dependent on her. This would either be because she'd outright blackmail them, or they were vulnerable in some way. These friendships never lasted very long, though-- Pietà would get either get bored, or they would do something she dislikes, and she would discard them like a toy.
-She becomes incredibly resentful of her sister after she leaves for university and gets a boyfriend.
-She discovers Augusta's band and falls for her. This is back when the band is still relatively small. She spends years trying to be noticed by constantly sending letters and expensive gifts. She plans her vacations so she can fly to the United States and watch them perform (this is before they're able to travel overseas).
-When the band begins to become popular, she notices her influence is weaker. The crowds are bigger, and Augusta is no longer wearing the gifts she sends her (such as jewelry/scarves/accessories).
-She wants to get close to her by any means necessary, so she cyberstalks her in order to find any dirt she can on her. (Haven't thought this out 100% yet; I'm thinking she probably hacks her business email, and discovers her personal email, which she also hacks, and discovers her ex-girlfriend's email, which she also hacks... haven't 100% decided on when this story takes place but it might be around when social media is in existence, but is not "everywhere" the way it is now.)
-She eventually finds out that Augusta had an abusive relationship with a young fan of hers which resulted in the fan attempting suicide. She gets a hold of some videos her ex sent a friend through email.
-She eventually approaches Augusta and essentially threatens to cause a scandal unless Augusta agrees to be her "best friend."
-Pietà likes to play with people like they're dolls. She does feel some guilt when she goes too far, though, but she has too much fun to stop.
-Pietà's emotions are unpredictable and volatile. She can go from being calm and collected, to doting, to being cold, to crying like a child. Oftentimes, unexpected things will trigger strange reactions from her.
-She has three cats named Napoleone, Donatello, and Giuseppe. She likes animals and children, but only if they allow her to play and mess with them as much as she likes; if they have boundaries, she hates them.
-She likes to test Augusta's limits and see how far she can push her. She likes to poke at her insecurities and exploit her fears.
-She tells herself (and Augusta) that she does not care whether the other woman ever loves her back, but this is not true. The idea that the only two people she's ever loved (her sister and Augusta) will never reciprocate is agonizing to her.
-She likes to point of Augusta's bad traits and make her feel insecure about them, but she also likes to encourage them. She tells Augusta that she should never have to change herself; that her whole life, others kept trying to force Pietà to become someone she was not, and that she was sick of being what others wanted her to be. She tells her that both of them are perfect the way that they are, even if others wouldn't see it.
-Likes to make Augusta feel paranoid that everyone will discover her real self and abandon her, unlike Pietà, who is the only person who will ever really love her the way she is.
-Other quirks: She never tips. She drives dangerously fast, but never gets into accidents. Her biggest pet peeve is when waitresses and baristas get her order "wrong," (not perfectly to her liking), which seems to happen a lot. Also a heavy smoker.
